At Wiveliscombe Primary School, we use the Maths - No Problem! approach to support children in developing a secure and deep understanding of mathematics. Children explore mathematical concepts through practical experiences, discussion, problem-solving and reasoning, developing their confidence and fluency as mathematicians. Learning is carefully sequenced so that children build on their prior knowledge and make connections between different areas of mathematics. We aim for all children to become confident, resilient learners who can applying their mathematical understanding in a range of contexts.
