We are fortunate to have an active Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTDA), bringing together parents, carers, staff, friends and members of our wider school community. 

The PTFA is run by a committee, with key roles agreed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year. However, you don't need to be a committee member to get involved – new members, helpers, and ideas are always very welcome throughout the school year. 

Raising funds to enhance school life

The main aim of our PTFA is to raise funds to enrich the experiences and opportunities we are able to provide for our children. 

Over the years, money raised by the PTFA has supported a wide range of resources, activities and experiences for pupils. These have included: 

• New books for our library
• A whole-class set of Chromebooks
• Online maths resources
• PSHE resources
• Support towards trips and experiences
• Opportunities for external visitors and organisations to work with our children 
• Support towards swimming opportunities for pupils 

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy and generosity of everyone who has contributed to PTFA fundraising and helped provide these additional opportunities for our children. 

Events and activities

Throughout the year, the PTFA organises a variety of events and activities for our children and school community. These vary from year to year and provide opportunities to raise funds while, just as importantly, bringing people together and having fun. 

Our school discos are always popular with the children, and other activities and fundraising events are organised throughout the year. 

Not everything the PTFA does is about fundraising. Building relationships, strengthening our school community and creating enjoyable experiences for our children and families are equally important. 

Get involved 

Our PTFA is always pleased to welcome new members, helpers and ideas. There are lots of ways to get involved, whether you would like to join the committee, help at an occasional event or simply lend a hand when you can.
