F orest School is an important part of learning at our school, with children taking part in regular sessions throughout the year. Our outdoor environment provides rich opportunities for children to explore the natural world, develop practical skills and learn through first-hand experiences. Forest School makes meaningful connections across the curriculum, including Science, Art and Design, Geography, Maths and English, while giving children opportunities to explore stories, investigate nature, use tools and learn skills such as fire lighting. Through these experiences, children develop curiosity, independence, resilience, teamwork and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
