At Wiveliscombe Primary School, Religious Education follows the Somerset Agreed Syllabus and is supported by the Jigsaw RE programme. Through the study of a range of religions and world-views, children develop their knowledge and understanding of different beliefs, practices and ways of life. They are encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, reflect on their own ideas and experiences and consider the beliefs and perspectives of others. Our RE curriculum aims to develop curiosity, respect and understanding, helping children to engage thoughtfully with the diverse world in which they live.
